Reviews and Ratings
I had a great time at the resort, especially enjoying the beautiful Santiago Beach and the lively atmosphere by the pools. The rooms had their flaws, particularly the bathroom plumbing, but the location and activities available more than made up for it. There was a bit of a concern with room conditions for some guests and the overall dining experience could be improved. Overall, it was still a memorable vacation for me and my friends with a five-star service that kept things fun!
I had a wonderful time at this resort, enjoying the beautiful Santiago Beach and all the fun activities available. The service was top-notch, and I absolutely loved the pools and the delicious food at the buffet. However, I noticed some areas for improvement, particularly in the room maintenance and certain features within the resort that could use a refresh.
I had mixed feelings about my time at the resort. While it has plenty of activities for kids and families, I was disappointed by the cleanliness and quality of our room. The dining options offered decent meals, but the food wasn't extraordinary. The location separated the beach from the resort, which was a hassle, and the accommodations were not very convenient for those with mobility issues.
Our stay at the hotel was disappointing overall. The beach access and pools are nice, but the rooms were humid and poorly laid out, lacking basic comforts like blankets. Service was friendly, but communication was often difficult as staff primarily spoke Spanish. While the dining options were decent, the overall experience left much to be desired, especially after what we encountered.
My stay was quite a mixed bag. The hotel's location is spacious and features some beautiful pool areas, but the rooms do need significant updates and maintenance. I appreciate the friendly staff, but service could be improved, especially at the front desk. Dining was average with room for improvement, and while I found the facilities good for families, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing.
This hotel has some real issues that made my stay quite uncomfortable. The distance to the beach is frustrating, with a busy road in between and a bridge that’s in disrepair. The rooms left much to be desired, and even though the pool area was decent, it feels outdated and in need of serious upgrades. On the plus side, the villas were spacious and a more comfortable option if you can manage the price. Overall, I’d be cautious about recommending this place.
My stay at this resort was disappointing, marked by serious issues in both service and cleanliness. While the resort is large with decent dining options, it suffers from maintenance problems that just can't be overlooked. The ambiance tries to appeal to families but the lack of upkeep and customer support left much to be desired.
My experience at Gran Festivall was incredibly disappointing. The hotel was rundown and dirty, with a serious lack of basic amenities like running water. The food was unsanitary, and we felt unsafe due to the presence of raccoons and rats. Fortunately, we were moved to Tesoro, which was a fantastic improvement in every way. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at Gran Festivall.
My experience at Gran Festivall was extremely disappointing. The lack of running water for 24 hours and overall cleanliness of the property made my stay unbearable. However, I was fortunate enough to be moved to Tesoro, which was a much nicer resort with excellent facilities. Overall, avoid Gran Festivall if you can.
